Tag rugby has never been as successful at the Old Pats as it is now.
Our current nine week run of sessions saw over 160 children from 4 - 11
years old, enjoy an array of weather whilst learning skills that will serve
them well in the future. Having the senior players as coaches provided
continuity and familiarity with the children knowing they would be the ones
coming through in the future to take their place. The progress that the
children of all ages have made is quite staggering, and those children that have
attended over the last two or three years have a really strong grounding in the
tactics and skills before entering the contact sessions with the Juniors.
We are proud of the commitment of all our children, coaches and parents
and hope that four year olds of today will be the Old Pats first team players
of tomorrow.
